In order to pay tribute to the classic Mercedes-Benz CLK GTR, the famous designer Mark Hostler, recently launched a violent concept work, and was named the Mercedes – Benz SL GTR.
In order to relive the CLK’s racing history, the designer made sure that the SL GTR Concept was as sleek and sophisticated as possible. Pairing signature Mercedes-Benz styling to a streamlined set of aerodynamic cues, the SL GTR is one of the sleekest concept cars we’ve seen to date.
Among the technical features envisioned by the author for his concept are a carbon fiber body and structure, carbon ceramic brakes and a nismo designed 5.5 litre v8 race engine from the Nissan GTR GT1 race car.
